I think I got answers for the first three riddles. Do I tell here now? or let other people keep guessing for a while?
I am surprised that how big the numbers are for the first three consecutive odd numbers, after I worked out the results.
No idea about the fourth one. Syntax-wise, it is perfectly fine.
Poogue Bob said,
March 25, 2008 @ 3:55 pm
I would say for the fourth answer that there’s no anticident for the pronoun (He).
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 4:00 pm
I guess we should let any newcomers who come in guess.
For question #3, I’m not sure if the true answer(s) count as “really big,” but I guess they are.
And for question #4, there is an error (according to high school essay standards), but that’s not it (even though regularly your answer would be correct).
Poogue Bob said,
March 25, 2008 @ 4:49 pm
huh I guess i missed you by 5 minutes
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 5:02 pm
Hehe…and actually, I was surprised to what the answer was to #4…
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 7:14 pm
Anyone have any answers for my 2 riddles?
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 7:50 pm
Here are some [obviously incorrect] guesses:
1) A hole?
2) 100 lbs.?
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:04 pm
1) Wrong
2)Wrong
Hints:
1) A word
2) Six feet tall and size 11 feet don’t tell you anything
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:06 pm
Of course they’re wrong.
So that leaves “a clerk at a butcher shop.”
Have any answer for #4?
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:07 pm
It isn’t that easy, but if i tell you, you’ll think it’s lame
#4 is hard!!!
You’re on!!!
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:08 pm
It would be best not to give away the answer.
#4’s answer is very surprising, and you should remember it when going to high school.
Another two-person-on-at-the-same-time!
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:10 pm
I guess it isn’t good.
Can you tell me during P.E.?
I love talking online!
RanRan is now lvl 6, I just noticed.
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:11 pm
Must have upgraded, but I didn’t do it.
Sure, I’ll tell you.
And to distinguish between posts/pages/comments, check the first comment here.
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:12 pm
Ok. Can I be lvl 6? You don’t have to do it, but i’m just asking.
Thanks! How was Poogue Bob? Is he coming back on?
Ok thanks!
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:14 pm
About the level 6, I’ll have to tell you something very important: at that level, you have the “Options” button, but it is important that you change nothing on it (because it works just fine now). Is that okay?
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:15 pm
No problem. I swear to my poogue that I won’t change anything!
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:17 pm
Okay, updated.
PoogueWee said,

Poogue Master said,

You could show off a basic action scene…
Well, anyways, I have to go to dinner. Have fun!
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:19 pm
Also, how do u check other people’s description?
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:20 pm

Going on after?
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:20 pm
Well, you have to click on their “Edit” button.
And yeah, I’m not sure when exactly though.
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:21 pm
Ok. Thanks and I’ll try to go on after!
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 8:33 pm
For #4, is the cat dead or alive? Does it have to do with dead or alive?
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 9:02 pm
I’m back! And no, the cat is alive. There’s no trick involved in the sentence; it’s just that the answer is totally weird.
PoogueWee said,
March 25, 2008 @ 9:03 pm
ok
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 9:03 pm

Tell me during P.E.
Poogue Master said,
March 25, 2008 @ 9:04 pm
Sure.

PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:04 pm
for #5?
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:07 pm
Ah, that was the original answer, but you can continue even further. Once again, the clue is related to music.
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:08 pm
can i ask if it’s an instrument?
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:09 pm
No, it’s not an instrument.
And I added another “riddle.”
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:14 pm
#7 is hard…
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:16 pm
I guess that’s why it’s called a riddle…
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:16 pm
Yep. Is there another word that ends with gry?
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:19 pm
What do you mean by “ends”?
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:21 pm
you know, it says angry and hungry both end in -gry
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:24 pm
Of course, answering that question will seriously give away the answer.
So I’ll tell you to read the question over many times…
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:25 pm
Ok. It might take a few minutes for my response
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:25 pm
Sure. I also created a typical word question that probably won’t take long.
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:26 pm
For #8, i think it might be cushion and fashion
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:27 pm
Correct! (See, it took only one minute!)
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:29 pm
Lol. I’m still on the 7th though…
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:30 pm
Hehe…I won’t tell the answer, lest you’re correct, because we want X-Man to have a try at it. He did start riddles, after all.
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:34 pm
I might know #7. Should I tell you?
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:36 pm
Yes, if you have an answer.
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:36 pm
ok.
#7) hungry?
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:37 pm
No/incorrect. I made one cosmetic change that didn’t alter any aspect of the question, but helps the user out.
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:38 pm
o man. ummmmmm…
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:39 pm
Does “What is the third word!”, the ! have to do with anything?
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:40 pm
Yes, the ! has a part in the question. Modified it even more.
And actually, you probably wouldn’t like the answer to the question. It’s a trick question…
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:42 pm
Mystical Realm….
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:43 pm
That was the cosmetic change that didn’t have any impact on the question.
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:45 pm
is it the word ” the ” ?
Poogue Master said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:46 pm
No, sorry. I have to leave early for swimming today, so sorry for you having to suffer the question. Bye!
PoogueWee said,
March 28, 2008 @ 4:47 pm
Ok. I’ll start making the next chapter for Dusk of the Second Sun. Bye!
Poogue Master said,

#1 Wholesome.
#2 Meat.
#3 idk.
#4 There isn’t really much that is bad about it…
#5 The longest common word without any of the five vowels is RHYTHMS, but there are longer rare words: SYMPHYSY, NYMPHLY, GYPSYRY, GYPSYFY, and TWYNDYLLYNGS. WPPWRMWSTE and GLYCYRRHIZIN are long words with very few vowels. Most of these I have no idea what they are…
The longest word in dictionaries having only one vowel is STRENGTHS. The longest word with only one vowel (if repeats are allowed) is CHRONONHOTONTHOLOGOS (twenty letters). STRENGTHLESSNESSES contains only Es and is just two letters shorter.
#6 Aerious.
#7 If only two rules are followed, there is a very small chance that one of the rules is that the answer to the riddle has to be a real word… Blahgry? But no one uses that… AHA! Mystical?
#8 Cushion and Fashion
Poogue Master said,
April 3, 2008 @ 7:39 pm
1) Ask PoogueWee…
2) Ask PoogueWee…
3) I’ll just say that the answer is less than 500.
4) Trick is “according to high school standards.” I never would have believed the answer either, but it’s still a trivial fact.
5) Murf. You can count #5 as solved, I guess, but if strengths is the answer then PoogueWee and you both got that right. However, another word related to music could be much longer than strengths. Another hint: all you need to do is use suffixes cleverly. This word may not exist in a dictionary, but computers and humans can both easily artifically create this word!
6) Correct!
7) No…
8) Correct!
David said,
April 4, 2008 @ 12:06 pm
#7 IS WHAT!!!
David said,
April 4, 2008 @ 12:12 pm
#4 Is it because that “he” doesn’t tell why he didn’t like the red cat?
David said,
April 4, 2008 @ 12:14 pm
#4 Or maybe it isn’t descriptive enough?
Poogue Master said,
April 4, 2008 @ 3:55 pm
7) Correct! I had trouble how to convey the feelings of the exclamation/question mark… Luckily I added the “the two rules are as follows:” part.
4) No…It’s just a totally weird answer. I don’t see why high schools wouldn’t allow the answer.
David said,
April 4, 2008 @ 5:14 pm
it describes a cat?
Poogue Master said,
April 4, 2008 @ 7:33 pm
4) No…But by now the answer has spread.
And has anybody attempted #3? Narrowing down the options, the answer is less than 400 (even though last comment said under 500, this comment has greater priority) now…
PoogueWee said,
April 6, 2008 @ 6:00 pm
Hey David !!!
1) Correct !!!
2) Correct !!!
Congratulations!!! You got 2 out of 2 correct!!!
David said,
April 7, 2008 @ 3:59 pm
WPPWRMWSTE
Poogue Master said,
April 7, 2008 @ 5:07 pm
Eww…the word looks disgusting (a figure of speech). Anyways, erm…that’s not a common word, so I’m afraid I can’t count it.
Hint #1: It has to do with music.
Hint #2: Add your suffixes in a clever way.
So, obviously now, the word is just a regular word with suffixes added on…
Poogue Jim said,
April 7, 2008 @ 7:45 pm
Number 8 is:
Fashion and I don’t know the second one

Ok. When should I release the next chapter of DSS ( Dusk of the Second Sun ) ? Should the abbreviation be DSS or DotSS or DOTSS?
Poogue Master said,
April 7, 2008 @ 9:22 pm
I would prefer DSS (just ’cause it’s shorter and saves typing time), but once again you’re in complete control in regards to your story.
I update my story weekly unless I have extra time to spare, so that I don’t find myself jamming the keyboards the night before to type up a chapter. If you do get caught in that situation, you can always hold it up a bit. The best thing about having multiple users (and more remotely, Daily Words [see the 45th comment here]) is that even though one story might be delayed, other stories will still be posted and the blog can still function efficiently. And about that, I added some filler episodes so it might be quite a while before you, Poogue Bob, Poogue Camo, or Poogue Jim will appear. Sorry for the delay, but I’m focusing a bit more on character development and the abilities each character has. That’s why some characters will be learning new moves.
PoogueWee said,
April 8, 2008 @ 7:01 pm
I like DSS
I should do my weekly too (if it’s ok with you). I have tons of spare time, so I might do another chapter. It’s fine with me whenever I appear. As long as I do, (not to sound greedy or anything) I’m fine whatever episode I’m in. New moves!!! YAY!!!
I think I might know what your answer’s going to be, but should my sections be in Chapters or Episodes?
Poogue Master said,
April 8, 2008 @ 7:45 pm
Ah, okay. Weekly’s fine; sometimes I don’t have time to write things up during the weekdays. And, er…not to sound repetitive (you probably guessed that…), but it’s your decision (rolls eyes). Whether it’s chapters or episodes, it doesn’t matter too much. I like, however, your idea of naming the chapter/episode.
P.S. = I noticed you used the word boscage in your story!
PoogueWee said,
April 8, 2008 @ 7:55 pm
Ok. I’ll do it weekly, or in my spare time. I’ll just use chapters.
Yep, I did use boscage. Did I use it in the right tense?
Poogue Master said,
April 8, 2008 @ 8:07 pm
Boscage was used correctly. It’s a noun, so there’s not a whole lot that could go wrong in terms of placement.
Did you notice Riddle #9? Although David started his post on Riddles, at this time he forgot to open up the comments (I do that, too, sometimes, when I’m in a rush), so I guess we’ll stay on this post for now…
PoogueWee said,
April 8, 2008 @ 8:12 pm
Ok, that’s good. Sometimes I get my tenses wrong.
I was going to try the riddles, but yeh, you’re right. Hope he adds the comments!
Should I type DSS now or tomorrow?

April 9, 2008 @ 8:11 pm
Not sure. There was one option on the Option menu that says: “Configure all emoticons to smileys” or something like that.
PoogueWee said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:12 pm
Did you or David say yes or something?
Poogue Master said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:13 pm
Yeah. It said such smileys included

I can’t wait. Might have to go soon.
Ok. Make sure you check sometimes!
Poogue Master said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:19 pm
On the very bottom of the screen, you can see how much the blog has been accessed. As of my writing, it’s 3010 times. 8/
PoogueWee said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:22 pm
YESSSSS!!!!!!! That means 3,000 people acessed this site?!?
Poogue Master said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:26 pm
Erm…no, sadly. Technically it could mean that, but it actually indicates how many new page views have been made (on the main namespace). So every time you refresh a page, it counts as a new hit. Also, if you use a different computer the hits go up as well.
{-))))*> (Doesn’t look like a fish to me…)
PoogueWee said,

but anyways what were you saying about the story of micheal
Poogue Master said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:31 pm
Oh yeah, are you going to use some more Daily Words in your story? I see fauna sticking in nicely there, also hyaline when you talk about clear water.
What profession did you want to be. For example, Tony is an air rogue, while David is a fire mage.
PoogueWee said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:32 pm
YES
PoogueWee said,

EARTH RANGER??? COOL. Awesome! Nice!
Poogue Master said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:35 pm
Oh, whoops, I did [get 170th].
Adverb Daily Words are tricky to find, I was lucky to find apace, since it didn’t end in -ly like most other adverbs…
Earth ranger request accepted.
PoogueWee said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:37 pm
O well. O got the 180th comment though, hehehe
Poogue Bob said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:37 pm
I was thinking about shadow rangr, but then i saw poogueblood’s choice and it was too similar
Poogue Master said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:38 pm
Remember syzygy (the Daily Word)? Notice how it has no vowels.
I’ll be using it much later, so don’t count on seeing it soon.
PoogueBlood? He’s based off of the air rogue (Tony in the story).
Poogue Bob said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:39 pm

Poogue Master said,

Poogue Bob said,

Poogue Master said,
April 9, 2008 @ 8:56 pm
Okay, bye! Your life here is all your decision…
It’s probably because people have no idea about what to buy so they leave all the choices with the receiver.

Poogue Master said,
April 11, 2008 @ 7:55 pm
5:42, approximately.
And David, I did read your post (
), but since I couldn’t edit it, I checked on WordPress myself. So basically you were the root of all these emoticons.
DARN IT! HOW DID I MISS YOU BY ONE MINUTE? Usually I stay on, but somehow I wasn’t paying attention that time. Really sorry!
One question: Do you mind if I combine you and Poogue Jim’s posts together to save on the amount of posts? If so, who should be the author?

So many comments!
Poogue Master said,
June 22, 2009 @ 1:55 pm
It might as well have been a chatroom.
I suggest all older computers should stay away from posts with more than 100 comments. It will take a while to process all the information, so your time would be better spent somewhere else. This is why sometimes we “move” our chatting over to a newer post; kind of like turning to a fresh page.
Anyways, maybe later PoogueWee and PoogueBob, those that were talking on this post, will visit us over the summer in our more recent posts. Hopefully!
DaPoogueBomb said,
