Dusk of the Second Sun

Chapter 1: The Beginning of How It All Happened

- It was the Dusk of the Second Sun, and everyone from Rangers to Wizards to Warriors came to celebrate with a toast, and also… Party the Whole Night! Every clan came, from good to neutral… and also the ruddy spies of evil. Of course, no one knew their real identity, so they pretended until the right time to execute Order 67.
- The clock ticked 6:00, and wizards apparated (transported) onto the ocean of cool grass. Knights and Rangers galloped on their horses and skidded to a halt at the humongous table. The Headmaster of the city, known as Jerimiah Stilton, waved his hand in the air and yelled “Is everyone here?”
- “No master, the Black Kempchins aren’t here yet. Always suspicious, that clan,” his apprentice Cormag whispered.
- “We’ll have to start without them,” Jerimiah said. Everyone became quiet as the headmaster tapped his goblet. “Please sit down everyone. We are all here at the Dusk of the Second Sun, and I would like to say a few words. Thank you clans that decided to join this joyful day, and spend the time with us. The Black Kempchin’s the only clan that isn’t here, but do not worry. I wish i could SHUNPO to them, but I have not learned that special move. We’ll start the feast right….NOW!!!”
- Then, out of no where, food came onto plates like…magic! Everyone dived into their plates, which went from meat to cheese to fruits and veggies, and more. After the feast, everyone slumped onto their horses, some had too much wine and some ate too much. They all lined up onto the grass and bent on their knees. They were thanking the gods until they heard a thunderous pounding soud.
- “Waz zat” a drunken dwarf said out loud. The pounding came louder, and louder, and louder! Then, everyone saw the silhouette of men wearing black and red uniforms on horses stampeding the city and burning straw houses.
- “Attack that clan and Defend the Weak!” Jerimiah yelled so that everybody could here.
- “Aren’t those people the Black Kempchins?!?” Cormag shouted to his master.
- “Yes, indeed they are. You are not strong enough to fight. Run into the forest with food and water. This is a command. Do It NOW!!” yelled Jerimiah as the Leader of the Black Kempchins rode closer to them.
- “I will not leave you master!” Cormag said with a quivering voice. At that point, Jerimiah apparated Cormag deep into the wilderness, where monsters of every kind crawled.

Chapter 2: Jedidiah the Master

- The next morning was foggy; so foggy that you couldn’t see anything if you were outside of the wilderness. That is, if you were outside of the wilderness. Fog was a bad sign in the Yoroimanu Period, which usually meant an event happened that didn’t turn out well. If you were inside the wilderness, however, all you would see is the murky swampy darkeness everyday 24/7.
- Cormag woke up from what felt like a dream, but was really reality.
- “Where am I? Where is everyone? Where’s the Headmaster?!?” he almost yelled in a panicky voice.
- “In the wilderness, you are in! Awake, you are from apparation, I assume” a voice whispered in Cormag’s ear that made the hairs on the top of his neck prickle. Immediately after hearing this, he jumped up so abruptly, that it looked as if he sat on a Quilpine, or an animal that’s covered with needles, looking like a modern-day porcupine. He turned around to see a green puppet-like Thing sitting on a log, holding a cane in one hand.
- “Who are you… What are you…” Cormag said in a trying-to-be-calm voice.
- “Master of the headmaster, I am. The all-natural Jedidiah” Jedidiah said in an ancient voice.
- “You know the headmaster, Jerimiah Stilton?”
- “Yes, my apprentice, he was”
- “Do you know where he is?” Cormag stuttered.
- “Know where he is, I do not. Exiled, I was into the wilderness. Too mysterious, they thought of me” he answered.
- “You were exiled? By who? Most importantly,” Cormag said “will you teach me as if you taught Jerimiah? He was my master, but he apparated me into the wilderness to get me away from the Black Kempchins. Will you, will you please?”
- “Hmmmm… The aura in you, powerful it is. Remind me of Jerimiah, you do. Hmmm… Great task you ask of me. I shall say…. YES!!!” Jedidiah said, almost screaming the last part.
- “Thank you. Thank you very much!” Cormag said with excitement in his voice.
- “Start tomorrow, we will. Tell me of yourself you will tomorrow” Jedidiah told him. Cormag walked with Jedidiah to his hut, which was not perfect, but would do. Cormag slept with determination and excitement, waiting for himself to wake up from a long sleep…

Chapter 3: The Art of the Aureus Virga

- “Time to wake up! Time to wake UP!!!” an echoey voice yelled in Cormag’s ear. Cormag shuffled in his bed… or now, on the damp floor of Jedidiah’s house. For a slit second, Cormag thought he was dreaming; it was 3:00 a.m.! No one would train at 3 a.m. They would be crazy!
- “This is madness! Who can do anything at this time???” Cormag muttered roughly, although he would’ve like to scream in Jedidiah’s ear at that second so he could feel relieved. Cormag sat up onto the wall, rubbing his tired eyes numerous times.
- “So, what are we *yawn* gonna do today” Cormag asked.
- “Find the weapon that chooses you, you are” Jedidiah said.
- “You must have made a mistake. A weapon choosing m-” he was about to say when Jedidiah cut him off.
- “Right you are. Rephrase my sentence I will” Jedidiah told him” Find the weapon that chooses you, WE are” he said not noticing the last sentence Cormag was about to say.
- “WHAT!!! A weapon can’t choose me! I could choose it, but how can it choose me!?! Right???” Cormag yelled with anger peroclating inside him.
- “Lots to learn, you still have. Choose the owner, a weapon will” Jedidiah said in a calm voice, “Go into the forest, we will, to find the weapon that Chooses You.”
- “Let’s go then. Come along” Jedidiah said swiftly. Both master and apprentice walked into the dark forest in search of a weapon for Cormag to wield.
- “You must feel the presence of your weapon, you can’t just find one. Strech with your feelings…” the master said in a wise tone. Cormag focused on the precious things in his mind, like the village, Jerimiah, and Jedidiah. All of a sudden, a thin, but sturdy golden stick about 4 foot 2 inches came flying from the bushes and hit Cormag full force into the stomache.
- “YEEEAAAOOOWWW” Cormag screamed not in pain, but because of the surprise greeting.
- “Hehehehehehe…HAHAHAHAHA!!! Forgot to tell you I did. Your weapon comes to you, I already said. Flies towards you, it will! Jedidiah laughed on the spur of the moment.
- “How could my weapon be gol-” he was about to say, but Jedidiah cut him off again.
- “It can’t be…No way… The prophecy… it’s true…” Jedidiah gasped.
- “What’s so good about a golden stick???” Cormag asked.
- “Not just a stick, that is. The Aureus Virga, the ancient weapon of time, it is” Jedidiah said proudly.
- “The Aureus Virga… I like it! When can I train with it?!?” excitement boiled in Cormag.
- “You are the One that will bring down evil… and protect us… You will need most special attention. Train with it, you will, tomorrow…” Jedidiah told him. They were walking back to the house when a wolf-like shape suddenly pounced a few meters away from them, spotting them suspiciously.
- “What’s that? It looks very terrifying!!!” Cormag stuttered.
- “It’s called a ShiWolfe, one of the easiest beasts to attack, but a little intelligent too. So basic, that attack it, you will. The Aureus Virga can transform into various weapons, but to get them, experience you will need. Lvl 1 attack is the dagger. To summon the dagger, you will have to say ‘Arcesso Dagger!’. Fight, you will to gain experience. Attack Now!” he said after a few seconds.
- “Arcesso Dagger” Cormag yelled with sheer determination. All of a sudden, a dagger was placed in his hand instead of a stick. Cormag rushed towards the now cowering ShiWolfe, and pierced it with great Balance and Accuracy. The wolfe screeched with pain and landed face down in front of Cormag.
- “Very good…very good…” Jedidiah muttered so that Cormag could hardly hear it.
- “Now, to restore it, say the same enchantment except say Aureus Virga instead of Dagger”. Cormag yelled “Arcesso Aureus Virga!” and the dagger became a golden stick again. After that, both of them walked back to Jedidiah’s house, and went back to sleep.
- “I will be prepared this time…” Cormag thought in his mind about waking up so early.

Chapter 4: The Truth of What Happened

- *Ding*, *ding*, *ding*! A noise swept Cormag’s ears, which made him quietly sit up. It was the only mechanism that woke him up manually. Only him. No one else could hear it… so he thought…
- “Now is the time….” Cormag thought evilly. It was still dark outside, and he could scarcely make out the outlines of items. He walked up to the bed that was a few meters away from his bed, and looked at his master with a wicked grin. He was about to reach the side of the bed when a thick net caught his whole body and pulled him upwards into the ceiling.
- “HIEIEIEIEYAAAH!” a tiny figure yelled while rising out of the bed and violently swooping towards Cormag. Cormag jerked at the rope, but it was no use. The figure loomed over him, stretching its fist so it would have a big impact… a very big impact. POW!!! The green fist striked Cormag’s cheek with amazing force, now kn0wing the power of his master.
- “OWOWOWOWOWOWOW!” Cormag yelled as his master landed on the net.
- “Coming to get Cormag, are you?” Jedidiah said.
- “Who do you think I am? It’s me! Cormag himself!!!” he replied furiously because his plan didn’t work and because of the huge bruise now swelling on his cheek.
- “Cormag…Cormag… Is that you” Jedidiah whispered now looking back at the empty guest bed.
- “No. I’m not Cormag” Cormag retorted in a joking way. Then, another fist hit him in the stomach, this time catching him by surprise.
- “I’m just kidding!!! It’s me! Get me down from here!!!” Cormag’s voice echoed.
- A half an hour passed while master and apprentice sat down near the fireplace, getting warm and healing the bruises. Again and again, Cormag thought why he even tried waking Jedidiah up so early, now knowing that his master wouldn’t let his guard down. At 7:05, when Cormag’s bruises were cured, Jedidiah finally spoke.
- “Train to the next lvl, you will. Assist you, I will” Jedidiah said in a serious tone. They both rose and walked out of the hut. Walking now into a known area, Cormag asked Jedidiah a question.
- “Why are we back in town?” Cormag asked. Then, he understood why.
- “No… No… I don’t want to see the wreck. Please, I dont want to…” he pleaded.
- “Know where Jerimiah is, we need to. Not to weak is he. My app-” Jedidiah cut himself off as he heard voices.
- “Order 67 has been done, sir. There are still some people in the forest, but we’ll find them” a corpral said.
- “Good… Good… Well done. You are now going to be upgraded into - wait a minute. I feel a disturbance in the darke air. I will need to scout the area near the forest. I feel the presence of something… ancient” a familiar voice said. It’s…. Jerimiah! But he has turned Darke. He is now officially… bad.
- “Sense me, he does. Escape, we will back into the forest to conceal our location” Jedidiah whispered in Cormag’s ear. They started to sprint quietly back to the forest when a ShiWolfe came walking to them, limping with a bad leg.
- “Run!” Jedidiah now said almost entering the forest. The two ran like never before, almost running on air into the boscage. A few seconds later, Jerimiah apparated a few feet outside of the forest, now watching the ShiWolfe whine as if talking. Jerimiah whistled and a pack of ShiWolfe appeared right in front of him in a triangle formation.
- “Go!” he yelled and the pack sprinted into the forest, sniffing the air of the presence of two objects.
- “I think we’re safe now” Cormag told his master, both of them looking at the hut hidden in the shrubs.
- “Duck!” Jedidiah yelled to Cormag as he crouched down.
- “What kind of duck?!? Mallard? Bufflehead? Smew?” Cormag thinking of the animal joyfully. Then, a shadow appeared and before he knew it, some ShiWolfe pounced onto his back, pretty small compared to him. He didn’t even fall, but just swayed a little.
- “ShiWolfe? Hey! I thought you said DUCK!!!” Cormag questioned Jedidiah curiously.
- “Attack them you fool!!!!” Jedidiah screamed, “or they’ll scrape your back off ”
- “Arcesso Dagger!” Cormag yelled and a dagger again appeared in his hand. He attacked 5 of the 9 ShiWolves menacingly. All of a sudden, a bright light shined and Cormag felt better than ever.
- “Your Aureus Virga is now lvl 2. You may now summon a pack of 12 shurikens, which will regenerate when all of them are used” a voice said in his mind calmly.
- “Yahoo!!! I’m lvl 2 now! What are shurikens, master?” Cormag said excitedly.
- “4-pointed metal stars, they are. Good for long ranged attacking. Try them” Jedidiah said smartly.
- “Arcesso Shurikens!” Cormag yelled. Then, a pouch of shurikens appeared where there was a dagger. He got one and tried it out. He swung wuth full force and it hit a ShiWolfe square between the eyes.
- “Bullseye!” he yelled over the whining of the wolves. The wolves turned back and started running for their lives.
- “Let them go, you will not. Get more and swing more, you will” Jedidiah told him. Cormag got 3 more shurikens for the remaining ones, and swung almost with all his might and it hit all three in the neck. Without even parading, he said “Arcesso Aureus Virga” and the golden stick came back. What the both of them didn’t know was there was a tenth ShiWolfe, lurking between the bushes, now running back to Jerimiah.
- “Good lesson, today was. Rest, we will” Jedidiah said and they both went into the hut and went to sleep.
- “I wont try any tricks anymore. I’ll just lay back and relax…” Cormag thought of the morning and dozed into a deep dream…

Chapter 5: Cormag’s New Speciality

- Cormag woke because of the sun that was shining brightly, and through the slits of his eyes he could see his master getting out of his bed to make breakfast. His master, Jedidiah, didn’t wake him up anymore, as he now knew the experience of now getting enough sleep.
- “YAWN” Cormag sighed, as his master looked down at him.
- “Today, is the day…” Jedidiah said, murmuring the rest of the sentence to himself. Cormag helped Jedidiah improve his Soboki Language, so he talked like Cormag now.
- “How come it’s extremely bright today?” Cormag asked.
- “The sun shines on you, so today, train we must” his master replied in a serious tone.
- “Lol, isn’t that what we always do?” Cormag thought dumbly. After eating, both of them walked out into the now shining forest, and sat on a log.
- ” Sit on this log, we will. Meditate, and look for the deep feelings in you. Like feeling something entering you” Jedidah said. They both sat down in a different criss-cross applesauce then usual, and stayed in that position. Five minutes past when Cormag finally spoke.
- “Umm. I don’t feel anything entering me… How long does it take for me to feel it?” Cormag asked impatiently.
- “Takes time, it does. Shortest time in history is five hours and twenty-two minutes, while the longest is ten hours and fifty-two minutes” he said.
- “Uggh. That’s long…” Cormag sighed. One, two, three, … four hours have passed while they were sitting on the damp log, waiting for “something” to enter him. It was five hours and twenty minutes later until Cormag finally felt something.
- “I feel something in me… it feels… cold.” Cormag replied.
- “Feel that, everyone does. You are now getting your magical powers… your power chooses you” Jedidiah said wisely. All of a sudden, Cormag felt… like a nature person. He quickly responded to this feeling.
- “Hey master, I feel like… a nature person. But then I also… feel dark” he said.
- “You are now an official Druid” his master excitedly said, “there are only a couple Druids in the whole planet. You are one special one.”
- “Hooray!” the now jumping up and down like a little kid Cormag yelled.
- “To use this power, you say’ Arcesso Druid Staff” and your staff will appear” Jedidiah said, walking into the wilderness with Cormag. They were walking back to the hut, hoping to find something to attack and a huge Giant Hamster appeared. *Squeek*
- “Awwwww, it’s sooo cute!” Cormag said in a funny voice.
- ” Too strong, they are for you. Handle this, I will” Jedidiah said, now holding a stick.
- “Don’t hurt i-” Cormag was about to say when the Giant Hamster came running towards them, making the ground shake a little.
- “Oh my gosh!!!!” Cormag yelled as the mutant THING was about to headbutt them.
- “Defendo Lagronum!” Jedidiah said in a raspy voice and a barrier came right in front of the hamster. *BAM*
- “Wow…” Cormag murmured to himself, feeling a blast of strength that made him fall over.
- “Let me finish this off” Jedidiah said triumphantly.
- “Gevora no Tourai!” he yelled to the rat. White wisps of flashing light that looked like an eagle soared through the shield and blasted the rat away from the shield.
- ” Capori Defendo Lagronum” Jedidiah said, looking at the petrified hamster.
- “We shall go and look for something else to fight” he said approvingly.
- “You’re strong…that shield… the blast… awesome” Cormag said as he picked himself up. They started walking again, almost back in the hut when a yellowish wolf sat munching on a carcass of a ShiWolfe.
- “That, is a Leader ShiWolfe. Usually with its pack, but this one seems to be alone. Attack it!” Jedidiah whispered into Cormag’s ear.
- “Arcesso Druid Staff!” Cormag whispered the same volume as Jedidiah. Then, a dark pole that was painted with leaves appeared in Cormag’s hand.
- “Now, say Illusiono” Jedidiah instructed.
- “Illusiono!” The wolf became suddenly still of breath, and then started to whine and yelp. It thrashed into a nearby tree, and a native fruit from above hit it and fainted.
- “Good for a beginner, but not that easy on a moving object” Jedidiah said.
- “That was cool” Cormag said, “Arcesso Aureus Virga.” As usual, it became the golden stick again. The branches in the shrubs bristled violently against each other.
- “What is it?” he asked. Sixteen ShiWolfe appeared, and looked at its leader. They glanced up and down, then started growling. Avenging their leader was their point in life.
- “That’s a lot of ShiWolfe. Sixteen of them can bring even a full grown man down. Still fight them, you will. Leaving to go back to the hut, I will. Stay here and fight them off, you will” Jedidiah replied. He used SHUNPO and disappeared. Shunpo, is when you run lightning fast to your destination.
- “Not fair” Cormag said, trying to remember how to get to the hut.
- “Oh well. Arcesso Da- hey. I wonder if I can dual-wield… let’s try it” he said expertly.
- “Arcesso Dagger and Shurikens!” he said in a deep tone. It worked!!!! In one hand, he held a gleaming dagger, and the other held a pack of 12 shuriken.
Secretly in the trees, Jedidiah watched in amazement, as beginners usually couldn’t think of Or try this technique.
- “Hehe. It actually worked… well then, let’s do this THANG!!!” he said in a powerful voice not usually like his. All the ShiWolfe came charging at him from a long distance, while Cormag sprinted as fast as he can straight towards them, going from side to side.
- “Bring it on, ShiWolves!” he shouted courageously as he leaped into the air to meet his attackers…

Chapter 6: The Almost Foolish But Courageous Act

- In the distance, Jerimiah, the evil traitor, was watching the attack: Cormag v.s. 16 ShiWolves.
- “Very impressive… he’s taught him well…” he muttered softly.
- “How should I lure him to me? Hmmm. He was a dull aprentice back then. He might prove himself worthy…” Jerimiah thought.
- “RRRAAAAAWWWWWRRRR!!!!!!!!” the 16 ShiWolves cried! The scene was stimulating! Cormag, now holding a dagger and a pack of 12 shurikens, flew across to the nearest ShiWolfe, and sliced it in the belly with Swiftness, and then flung 4 shurikens at the ShiWolves to his side. Three of them hit, but the fourth one was dodged and it hit a tree. The ShiWolfe that dodged his attack then bounced off a tree and flung itself onto Cormag. Cormag, with little experience in fighting, flung the ShiWolfe down onto the ground and started spitting at it. The loogie went from his mouth, and went *splosh* right in the eye of the ShiWolfe. All the other 11 ShiWolves tackled Cormag down, pinned hopelessly onto the ground. While 10 ShiWolves pinned him down, the 11th jumped up and down on his belly like a spring (he isn’t fat, just that the ShiWolfe kept jumping up and down.
- “AAAARGH!!! No ShiWolfe shall put me down” as he rose and sliced his dagger in all directions. The ShiWolves jumped off of him and started circling him very slowly.
- “I will not end my training here!!!” he yelled. He got out eight shurikens and quickly sent them towards the 11 ShiWolves, which are now only five.
- “Arcesso Druid Staff!” Cormag chanted and the Druid Staff appeared, all the items he was equipped with vanishing.
- “Illusiono!” All five ShiWolves started looking at the ground, and whined in pain from the illusions. Cormag sprinted over to them, and hit them with Accuracy when there were two left.
- “Arcesso Dagger!” he said and a dagger replaced the staff. By now, the wolves came back to reality and were a bit confused. Then, they felt a stabbing pain that lowered them and made them go into a never-ending sleep.
- “WOOT!!!!! I did it!!! YEEEEEEHAAAAAW!!!” he said, but then a clapping sound made him stop and look where the sound was coming from. Then, out of the bushes, a figure appeared.
- “Jerimiah? You’re alive!!!” Cormag said not remembering that his old master is bad.
- “Great Job!! That was amazing! For doing that, you get a surprise. Follow me back to my house, and you can see it. Come along now” Jerimiah said in a fake voice. During this conversation, Jedidiah, who was in the the trees the whole time, was listening. He wouldn’t let Cormag go now. Cormag started walking towards his ex-master, now excited.
- “I won’t let this happen!” Jedidiah almost yelled, but the two couldn’t hear it. With precise timing, he swooped down using Shunpo, grabbed Cormag while covering his apprentice’s mouth, and went back to the hut. The hut was a pretty long way from where they were, but it took a few seconds to get there.
- “Oh man. I should have known that my master wouldn’t leave him all alone by himself with 16 ShiWolves. How foolish of me…” Jerimiah murmured.
- Back at the hut, Jedidiah was talking to Cormag about the attack.
- “It was extremely foolish of you to jump in the air like that and let your guard down. I won’t let you do that in the present days”
- “Hey, I did pretty well back there. You ought to be congratulating me for that”
- “You did dual-wield, which others wouldn’t have thought of, but anyway you almost went with Jerimiah!”
- “Thank you. That was an idea and it worked” Cormag replied in a smart way, “and I admit I was about to go with him.it’s not my fault though. I was tired , and I could hardly think. Even now, I’m still wiped out.
- “Fine, Fine, Fine, Fine, FINE!!! GOT THE POINT I DO!!!” Jedidiah yelled the last part, ” In the present, though, we will work on making your mind sharper”
- “Fine” Cormag ended the conversation and went to bed early without eating. Master and Apprentice were bonding in a different way, but still had the same feelings inside. Anyway, it’s what’s inside that counts the most…right?

Chapter 7: The Last Chance to Fight Evil

*Bum bum*, *bum bum*. The heart of Cormag was beating quick.
- “No…” he thought, “NO!” He woke up, refreshed but still in shock.
- “What happened to you, Cormag?” his master Jedidiah said in a worried voice.
- “It’s nothing, really, i’m fine.”
- “If you say so. Well, today, we look for recruits.”
- “Hmph. New friends. Finally. I won’t be alone with this green puppet-like thing” Cormag wondered happily, “he is nice though…”
- “We will look for any survivors and rescue them. We will also look for the clan called Poogue. They are the last chance to bring down Jerimiah. I’m getting a little rusty these days” Jedidiah moaned.
- “Don’t worry. I’ll find them, even if we’re in a do-or-die situation”
- “Let’s start” Jedidiah said, but he was interrupted with a moaning sound. Jedidiah swiftly looked behind him, but Cormag always knew that noise.
- “Hey Jedidiah, before we go, may I have something to eat? I’m starving” he said, looking down at his stomache.
- “Hehehe, I forgot to eat yesterday. I was so mad. I’m better now though”
- An hour later, Cormag was stuffed and ready to go. They both walked out into the sunlight.
- “So, where is this clan called Poogue?” Cormag asked.
- “This clan is a special clan. Only found in a special place. Know the exact lo0cation, I do not” Jedidiah replied while jumping over the root of a tree.
- “OMG!!! Do you think we’re going to just meet them?!? There going to appear in front of us or something?
- “No. Of course not. I know where it is located, I just don’t know how to get in” Jedidiah replied. They continued walking, until they were far far away from the hut, and the atmoshpere changed. It felt…wet. It was as if the Poogues made it like this. Suddenly, a giant snake slithered from the ground and… talked to them in a different language.
- “Emptato no esarido budoisss” it said.
- “What’s it saying?” Cormag said, knowing that it was too powerful for him to fight.
- “It is speaking the language called SlisseTongue. I don’t, unfortunately, speak it” Jedidiah said, now thinking that this snake is too powerful and young, so he would be no match for it. As if the snake knew what they were saying, it responded.
- “What purpossse do you have in thisss teritorriesss!” it said.
- “We are looking for the Poogue clan known to be famous” Cormag spoke without thinking.
- “Oh? You know of this clan? Are you friend or foe to them” the snake said, now coming closer to them.
- “We are not friend or foe, but visitors to ask them a favor” Jedidiah answered.
- “Come along then, I will lead you to their room. It will be dangerous” the snake warned them and moved the opposite direction it was going.
- “We will follow it closely, but watch out for unexpected attacks” Jedidiah wispered to Cormag as they walked close to the mighty tail of the snake. All of a sudden, a group of centaurs came stampeding 20 meters in front of the snake and pulled out what looked like a bow and some arrows.
- “Stay behind me and you’ll be safe” the snake said in a calm voice, “I’ll take caressss of them”
The snake’s tail surrounded the two of them, and they were protected from the arrows, except from the top. An arrow swished through the air and came zooming at Cormag, while a spear was coming towards Jedidiah. As fast as lightning, the snake’s tail cracked the air and the ranged items were splintered.
- “I wouldn’t want to be the enemy of this snake” Cormag muttered to himself. It was over in 30 seconds. For a group of centaurs, it would take about 8-10 minuted to defeat.
- “Comesss along now” the snake said while unraveling its tale with haste, “We are almosssst there.” It took a while, but they got there at last.
- “We are heresss” the snake boomed. They were just looking at a waterfall with a rock wall next to it.
- “This a waterfall, not a building!” Cormag yelled with anger.
- “This is the place. The question is, how do we get in?” Jedidiah asked the snake.
- “Run into both the waterfall and the wall, and you’ll see…” the snake said its last words to them and dug into the soil, and it was gone.
- “Let’s try it” Cormag said jokingly. Jedidiah thought he meant it, and started running towards half of the waterfall and half of the rock wall.
- “HEY!!! WAIT FOR ME!!!!” Cormag screamed, while trying to catch up with his master. As master and apprentice, they ran straight through the two objects and were now in a damp cave. Cormag’s reflexes still needed sharpening, so he tripped on the spot while Jedidiah balanced himself, concentrating hard on the floor.
- “Get up. Get up!!!”Jedidiah told him.
- “We go onward into the cave, i’m guessing” Cormag said while walking into the darkness. They entered a slightly foggy room, which was the size of a house. Jedidiah jumped when a ring of snakes, all a little smaller than the giant one they saw earlier, surrounded them.
- “AAARRRGGHH!” Cormag yelped as he fell to the ground, remembering his nightmare and couldn’t believe it was coming true…
