I would like to add a couple of Chinese characters: 金木水ç«åœŸ
In ancient China, people thought the world consisted of 5 elements: 金(gold), 木(wood), æ°´(water), ç«(fire), 土(dirt).
Also they named the 5 planets closely circling around Sun: 金星(Venus), 木星(Jupiter) 水星(Mercury) ç«æ˜Ÿ(Mars) 土星(Saturn).

In Poogue there are eight elements.

eight…?
April 4, 2008 @ 9:11 pm
Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Energy, Nature, Light, Shadow
April 4, 2008 @ 10:33 pm
Triple each word, and they are still valid Chinese characters: 鑫森淼焱垚, others include ä¼—å“.
Can anyone think of more such words?

right, you’ve got another one: triple æ—¥(the Sun) becomes 晶 (shining).
In order to input Chinese, you can add “Chinese” as one of the languages in Windows “Control Panel” -> “Reginal and Lanugage Options”; or you can down Google Pinyin Input method from website: http://tools.google.com/pinyin/
