My aunt lives in Santa Rosa, and there is a nearby beach called Bodega Bay (well, more like a harbor). It's a great place to go boating, and at Bodega Head, the tip of a mountainous peninsula, all you see is the outwordly ocean while dense fog shrouds the harbor behind you.
